Lyell is the oldest child of the Swiftpaw family, and heir to their land. At least she was. She decided to give the land to her younger sister in place of becoming a guard for the princess. It’s not much, but at least her sister will have a home.
Lyell is the head of the princess’s guard, and faithful to the Sharpjaw reign. Well trained in weapons, she prefers her claws to most, but Lyell knows how to throw and axe and shoot a bow. She taught her brother,Marrok, everything he knows.
Lyell has a rough exterior, and is a savage like most werewolves. She left her family at a young age to work for the royal family, and worked her way up through the ranks to the head of the princess’s guard, an all woman guard.

Audition (2-4 paragraphs):
As Helena glanced around the throne room, she was once again struck with a sense of pride. She had accomplished this, taking the throne from her brother. It was a feat not many had thought her capable of. She had though, with her sister’s help; she had killed her only brother to steal the throne that was rightfully his. Did she feel guilty about it? Fuck no. Helena couldn’t remember a time when she had ever felt such a useless emotion. She was above all of that pettiness. She was able to differentiate between loyalty and necessity. It had been a necessity to overthrow him. He hadn’t done a damned thing to further their territory, to make them stronger. All things she had accomplished in the 200 years she had been on the throne.
Her ways hadn’t been accepted by all though. Some still resisted. They claimed she was not right for the right to be queen. Perhaps they thought her not in the right state of mind. They all screamed their allegiance when she got a hold of them. Their blood created a red portrait in the otherwise dark throne room. Helena wasn’t sure when she had become the cruel vampire she had become, but it had ceased to matter. Many believed her ways to be the product of her insanity, but that was not the case. That title belonged to Jetta. It didn’t matter what they said about her; they all came around one way or another. It was her specialty, getting what she wanted. Not all her people saw her reign as she did: as a blessing for the people.

Brandon is heir to the thrown, and he loves it. He’s greedy and a spoiled brat. Definitely not the best to have ruling over a country. He’s always gotten what he wants. It’s dangerous to refuse him, you might end up disappearing in the middle of the night or losing a limb.
Brandon isn’t aware of his powers, nor should he ever be. His mother realized at a young age that Brandon was too spoiled, and would use his powers to get what he wanted when he wanted, not following the simple rules of magic, and perhaps dying.

Tatianna is the youngest child of the High King and High Queen of Tallythae. She, unlike her brother, knows of her mother’s powers, and her mother has been training her in the ways of witchcraft.
Tatianna is at a place in her life where she doesn’t know. She knows what her parents are doing is wrong, but she loves the power given to her by them. Tatianna is faced with a dire problem, power or what’s right?
Tatianna is quiet and sweet, as most court ladies are. She doesn’t have many friends, most are too scared to speak to her.
